​William "Bill" Cruse

Bill Cruse grew up here in Pearl River County. He graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 2001 and attended Pearl River Community College in 2003, before transferring to Mississippi College, where he graduated with a chemistry degree in 2005. He then graduated from the Mississippi School of Law in 2009 and began practicing law that same year.

 

Bill spent a decade in Jackson, MS working as a youth minister and Director of Youth Ministries for the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi before and during his time in law school. He then returned home to Picayune to practice law. Bill enjoys helping his clients through the process of estate planningreal estate lawreal estate closings and navigating business legal issues

He aims to guide clients through major life transitions so they can thrive in the future.

 

He and his wife Morgan Cowart Cruse married in the summer of 2005 and have four children. His family and his work in Jackson inspired him to move back to Picayune and help the people and businesses where he grew up. Bill does not take this privilege and responsibility lightly. He is a member of the local chapter of the Kiwanis Club and a lifelong member of Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Mu.

 

His parents, Fred and Dianne Cruse, founded Fred’s Westside Pharmacy in Picayune, and his brother Gordon currently owns the pharmacy.

Tyler Alexander

Tyler grew up in Pearl River County, graduating from Pearl River Central High School in 2010. Tyler then received his bachelor’s degree from Ole Miss in 2014, followed by his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law in 2017.

 

Following passing the Mississippi bar in 2017, Tyler clerked for the Circuit Court Judges of the 8th Circuit of Mississippi for a year. In the fall of 2018 Tyler moved to Gulfport to practice civil defense before returning home in the fall of 2020.

 

Tyler will be handling litigation for the firm. He will be handling a variety of matters including personal injury, criminal defense, probate, and property disputes. 

 

Tyler is married to Sophia Garcia Alexander, and they have two children. Tyler enjoys being back home where he is close to his family, friends, and help the community where he grew up.

Alison Carter

Alison serves as Office Manager and Legal Assistant. In her legal assistant work, she supports Tyler in Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Probate, Property Disputes and any other litigation matters. She worked as a Child Life Specialist at Children’s Hospital for many years after graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi. She left Children’s Hospital to go home and be a mom. Alison went on to work in Pearl River County School District for over a decade before joining Cruse Law in 2018. She uses her experience in both of these fields to treat each client with more than the requisite level of care. 

 

Alison and her husband enjoy spending time on the water, running or in Oxford with their three children who attend The University of Mississippi.

Destiny Harrell
Destiny Harrell is the Legal Assistant to William Cruse. Destiny grew up in Stone County, and graduated from Stone High School in 2020. Initially her plan was to enroll in the nursing program at MGCCC when she discovered a passion for the legal field. She loves helping others, the outdoors, running and spending quality time with her family and friends.
